Job Duties and Responsibilities :
• Join our team of Android developers architecting and building applications
• Design and build applications for the Android platform
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
• Perform code reviews for code quality, performance, and alignment to requirements.
Job Requirements and Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science
• 5 years of Android experience and able to show examples of applications developed.
• Proficient with Java and Kotlin.
• Significant hands-on experience with Gradle
• Familiarity with SQLite database and local storage.
• Familiarity with RESTful and WebSocket APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
• Significant understanding of Android app lifecycle and how view hierarchies work.
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Experience with Git.
