Job Duties and Responsibilities :
• Basically, you ll deliver quality writing articles that appeal to our audiences, attract customers and boost brand awareness.
• Trans-creating may also be part of the job, which is a mix of translation, localization and copywriting, where the text is culturally and linguistically adapted to suit the reader.
Responsibilities
• Research industry-related topics (combining online sources, interviews and studies)
• Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services.
• Submit work to editors for input and approval
• Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles
• Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
• Identify customers needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
• Update website content as needed.
Job Requirements and Qualifications :
BSc in Marketing, Journalism or related field
• Fluency in English
• A good understanding and in-depth knowledge of language/country-specific cultures, known as localization
• Proven work experience as Arabic Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role-preferred to be in travel industry
• Excellent writing skills and command of grammar
• Experience doing research using multiple sources.
• Familiarity with web publications
• Excellent writing and editing skills in Arabic
• Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
• Ability to meet deadlines.
