Job Duties and Responsibilities :
• Translating scientific content including, but not limited to, mathematics, physics, and chemistry from English to Arabic
• Handling and coordinating tasks related to the translation process
• Mentoring and training new team members
• Maintaining and updating glossaries and translation guidelines
• Sampling and reviewing final translations to check for the quality of the translated content
• Localizing Arabic content to suit different Arabic dialects
• Researching scientific notations and terms across different Arabic-speaking locales.
Job Requirements and Qualifications :
• Bachelor’s degree in translation or any related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Experience in translating scientific or educational content
• Excellent command of Arabic and English
• Ability to determine the suitable tone and style that best suits the target audience
• Good management skills.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Good research skills
• Good organizational skills
• Creative and critical thinking skills
• Ability to give and receive feedback in a constructive and well-formed manner
• Self-motivation and proactivity
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
