Job Duties and Responsibilities :

• Manage and lead Accounting team, including day-to-day activities, team, and employee development.
•  Oversee key functional areas, such as GL, AR, and AP.
•  Ensure timely, accurate, and complete month end close and reporting as per applicable GAAP and Company policies.
•  Determine proper handling of financial transactions and approve transactions within designated limits.
•  Assist in the application and review of internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX and Company policies.
•  Lead on internal and external audits and tax reporting requirements.
•  Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
•  Monitor and manage cash flow.
•  Help in the development of reports or processes for management or regulatory bodies.
•  Review the financials to identify and resolve errors or inaccuracies and identify key trends or opportunities.
•  Review, investigate, and correct errors or optimize workflow in financial processes, documentation, and reports.
•  Ensure adequate maintenance of accounting records.
•  Assist with ERP optimization or maintenance as required.

Job Requirements and Qualifications :

• Bachelors in accounting or equivalent required, master’s preferred
• CPA or Equivalent
•  Resourceful and Solutions Oriented
•  Attention to Detail and Deadlines
•  Proficient with ERP systems
•  Working knowledge of standard application software (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

EXPERIENCE:

• 6+ years of experience in Finance, Oil and Gas experience preferred
• 2+ years of management experience
• Audit experience
• Cost accounting experience a plus.
