Job Duties :
• Responsible for building the company s chartering and sale / purchase strategy, in addition to overseeing chartering / operations duties on a daily basis
• Securing long term business strategies and capitalise on new business opportunities with clients
• Manage the chartering and operations team and advise management on integral analysis and execution of business development
• Be responsible for commercial negotiations and decisions
• Handle claims, legal and insurance issues and improve upon operating systems and procedures.
Requirements :
• At least 10 years of experience in the shipping/chartering industry
• Strong network of contacts with ship owners and relevant industry companies
• Ability to generate new business and secure opportunities with new and existing clients
• Management experience a benefit.
