Job Duties and Responsibilities :
Maintain fixed asset records
Prepare monthly journal entries
Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts to supporting detail
Assist the Controller with internal and external financial reporting requirements
Provide support for year-end and lender audits.
Assist with preparation of annual budget and periodic financial projections.
Perform other accounting and finance related duties as assigned
Make recommendations for profitability improvements
Work with operations to improve inventory controls
Participate in physical inventory verifications
Analyze plant costs and capital spending requests.
Job Requirements and Qualifications :
Advanced proficiency with MS-Office applications
Advanced excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
Experience working with ERP systems
Communication proficiency
Ethical conduct.
Ability to work well with ambiguity
Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or Finance
MBA and/or CPA preferred
Minimum of 1 year experience.
