Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Study and understand all relevant project documents relating to cost management.
- Work with all relevant project personnel to ensure that cost control procedures are in place.
- Constant communication with technical departments to review the operating hours and the number of personnel and raw materials needed for production.
- Communication with the procurement department to evaluate the procurement process to reach the most appropriate cost.
- Commodity inventory valuation for the purposes of preparation of financial statements.
- Measuring the cost of production
- Save and filing the cost of products.
- Control over the cost of service activities.
Job Requirements and Qualifications :
- Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant or similar role
- Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures
- Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)
- Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
- Strong time management skills
- Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information
- BSc degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant study
- 5 year at least in costing filed.
- Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification or similar is a must.
