Job Duties and Responsibilities :
• Manages the Logistics & Warehouse team.
• Develops and implements logistics policies and procedures
• Selects logistics suppliers and negotiates terms of contracts
• Responsible for controlling warehouse activities
• Ensures adequate supply levels and timely receipt of material for production and maximises inventory control.
• Responsible for transport, clearance of imported material, and warehousing either directly or through external forwarders.
• Responsible for effective handling of major import/export activities
• Manages the Logistics & warehouse budget
• Manages the Logistics & Warehouse team
• Develops policies and procedures to ensure compliance with customs and excise regulations.
• Arranges for proper customs clearance to meet specified regulations
• Manages the drawback activities with the Customs Authorities
• Maintains close contact with customs and government officials.
Job Requirements and Qualifications :
• University graduate, studies in Supply Chain are an asset
• Minimum 5 years experience in similar position in multinational, manufacturing companies
• Strong management skills
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Strong Planning, & Problem Solving Skills
• English spoken: Fluent written: excellent
• Computer Skills MS Office.
