Job Duties and Responsibilities :
Performing eye test and all needed eye examinations to determine accurate visual acuity
Prescribing corrective spectacles, contact lenses and other visual aids to correct vision of the patient
Fitting all kinds of contact lenses: soft, toric, hard etc.
Explaining to the patient various kinds of contact lenses or ophthalmic lenses and which fits his/her case
Offering trial contact lenses if necessary to the patient to make sure the fitting is adequate to him/her.

Educating the patients on the use of spectacles and ophthalmic lenses if the case requires
Assisting the patients on the use of spectacles and prescribed contact lenses
Coordinating between his/her colleagues and the patient for better outcomes
Contributing to enhance the company’s growth by suggesting new ideas and performing ideally
Following the policies and the procedures.

Job Requirements and Qualifications :
Degree in Optometry and a recognized certification as a professional Optometrist (Doctor of Optometry), eligible to be registered in practice with the Ministry of Health in the operating country
2 years’ experience in a similar role
Previous retail experience is beneficial.
