Job Duties and Responsibilities :
•Manage a series of Windows/Linux servers in various configurations
•Install, configure, upgrade, monitor, tune and backup software environments.
•Monitor each server, ensuring that they are in working condition.
•Install software applications such as compilers, databases, and web application servers.
•Maintain source code control systems such as SVN.
•Deploy or Install Patches and Updates.
•Handling complex technical troubleshooting
•Maintain network systems.
Job Requirements and Qualifications :
•3-5 years experience.
•B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent experience required.
•Working knowledge of Windows 2008 R2/Linux system administration.
•Experience performing server backups and restore.
•Experience with virtualized products (i.e., hyper-v, VMware etc).
•Knowledge of software source control servers such SVN.
•Highly organized, self-motivated, able to multi-task, able to work independently as well as with a team.
•Problem solver with outstanding troubleshooting capabilities and strong communication skills.
•Able to learn and absorb new technologies quickly.
•Familiarity with firewall setup/network security, VPN, network switches/routers is a plus.
