Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Managing projects from a structural perspective
• Liaising and coordinating with other engineering consultants on the projects
• Acting as key point of contact for clients
• Design complex & high-rise structures in Structural Steal.
• Checking the work of team members
• Ensure design complies with relevant standards
• Liaise with regulatory authorities re approvals
• Assist the owner in winning and developing new business.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
• Minimum of degree level in structural engineering
• Have a minimum of 15 – 20 years structural engineering design experience
• Must have experience of managing a team of engineers on structural engineering projects
• 10 plus years experience working for an engineering consultancy not a contractor
• 10 years plus experience working on high rise structures
• 5 plus years experience working in the UAE.
