Job Duties and Responsibilities :
• Maintain records to ensure all material are tracked to the destination and advise the required personnel in advance regarding the arrival of materials/assets.
• Reduce costs by sourcing material directly from manufacturers whenever possible.
• Special emphasis on reduction of book stocks by utilizing available items in inventory in coordination with Inventory Manager.
• Work with the Quality and HSE Representatives to ensure that the procurement is fully compliant with company HSE policy and procedures and the Quality system.

• Liaise with site personnel at remote locations to understand the requirements and provide procurement support as required.
• Optimise relations with key suppliers, to support cost reductions and delivery lead times.
• Coordinating with finance department to ensure all expenses are coded correctly to ensure costs are captured correctly.
• Employ effective sourcing techniques in identifying reliable sources for existing or new projects.

• Engage in establishing and maintaining strategic business relationship with suppliers
• Monitors and pro‐actively takes actions in response to market trends in Oil and Gas Sector
• Prepares bidder lists and releases request for quotations
• Expedites supplier’s offers and clarifications related to the offers
• Evaluates suppliers’ offers in terms of the commercial and technical requirement;
• Conducts on‐the‐ground inspection of material
• Ensures proper time management and prioritization of tasks.

Job Requirements and Qualifications :
University Degree in business related discipline or Engineering related discipline
5 + years of experience in Oil and Gas Sector with good understanding of procurement processes in this industry
Profound knowledge of product specifications, functionalities and applications of various equipment or spares in Oil and Gas industry
APICS- CPIM or relevant certification – Desirable
Knowledge in ERP Systems.
