Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Manages localization projects from beginning to end, working closely with language specialists, localization engineers, product management and development, internal business partners and external vendors and other departments.
- Develops project plans and workflows, managing time, budget, resources and quality control
- Analyzes location project risk, and defines mitigation actions of identified risks
- Establishes and maintains excellent relationships with contract translators and proofreaders globally
- Supports in recruitment process to build a comprehensive global database of translators to meet continuous business needs
- Continually expands knowledge and education in localization trends and news
- Preparation and maintenance of project documentation.
Job Requirements and Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree ( Science, Pharmacy, medicine or with equivalent experience)
- Solid in-depth knowledge of internationalization and localization
- Minimum of 1 year of experience directly related to life science project management.
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Excellent presentation/communication skills, with the ability to clearly present the localization life-cycle to clients
- Organizational and leadership skills
- Proven abilities in project planning, resource and risk management
- Problem-solving capabilities
- Detail orientation with the ability to multi-task.
- Strong team player in a multi-language/multi-cultural environment
- Self-starter and pro-active
- Knowledge and eagerness to learn and identify new technologies and new tools.
