Job Duties and Responsibilities :
Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
• Collaborate with agile teams to define, design, and ship new features/user stories and tasks.
• Ensure the performance/improving, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bug, Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Job Requirements and Qualifications :
BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Proven working experience in software development
• Working experience in Android development
• Have published one or more Android apps in the google store
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK,Java, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Experience with third-party libraries, integration with Social media and APIs (RESTful APIs)
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle (agile , scrum)
• Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards {design principles, patterns, and best practices} and with HTML, CSS, and client-side frameworks such as jQuery Mobile, jQuery UI, AJAX
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools like {Git,SVN,MS TFS}
• Familiarity with continuous integration
• Self-motivated and creative problem-solving skills
