Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of Group Economic Capital model, updates, implementation and computation
• Analysis of alternative capital model and methods
• Deliver the CBUAE macro-economic Stress testing exercise / report
• Enhancement of the existing RAROC model
• Interact with Business teams to understand their needs in terms of RAROC and ensure that those are made available to them in a timely manner.
• Assist the Business teams with guidance on transactional RAROC. Support training and understanding of risk adjusted pricing.
• Projection of Economic Capital, Pillar 2 ratios and other metrics through a 3-year planning cycle
• Preparation of Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Report (ICAAP) for the Bank cover

Education & Experience:

• Good knowledge of Credit Risk Modelling and Financial accounting
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge on Financial Risk Management
• Degree in a quantitative field
• Professional Qualification would be a distinct advantage e.g., CFA / FRM / Actuarial Qualifications
• Candidates must prove that they have knowledge of statistical and financial / economic concepts.
• Excellent computer skills (especially R, SAS, Excel, Visual Basic, SQL & Oracle)
• At least 6-8 years of banking experience, out of which 3-5 years are spent in related areas
